골프는 타깃 게임이다
골프는 사격, 양궁, 다트와 같은 타깃 게임이다.
타깃 게임은 목표를 설정하고 그것을 누가 더 정확하게 맞추느냐 하는 게임을 말한다. 좀더 넓은 의미에서 생각해 보면 축구, 배구, 탁구, 테니스,배드민턴과 같은 스포츠도 타깃 게임의 범주에 있다.
왜냐하면 공을 가지고 하는 스포츠는 모두 보내고자 하는 표적이 있어야 하기 때문이다. 골퍼는 이점을 간과해서는 안된다.

공을 원하는 곳으로 보내는 일은 반드시 똑바로 날아가야만 하는 것은 아니다. 공이 왼쪽이나 오른쪽으로 조금 휘더라도 골퍼는 목표한 곳에 공을 떨어뜨릴 수 있다.

게다가 이 사회에 만연한 학벌주의, 성과주의는 취업 준비생들에게 온통 스펙 쌓기에만 관심을 두도록 한몫하고 있다.
직업을 갖기 위해서는 자신에게 어떤 재능이 있고, 무엇에 행복해하는지를 알아야 한다. 하지만 취업준비생 중에는 스펙 쌓기만이 내가 할 수 있는 노력의 전부라 여기는 경우가 있다.
물론 자격증 취득을 위해 노력할 시기도 있고, 스펙쌓기를 열심히 해야 할 때도 있다. 하지만 해가 지나도 오직 그런 노력만 한다면 삶의 행복은 요원한 숙제로 남게 될 것이다.
